Buyers will have to wait a little longer for the revamped versions of the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, according to a new report from TFLtruck.

While some hoped that the next generation of Chevy’s lineup would come in 2020, it seems that this fresh new take will need a little more time to bake.

An eagle-eyed reader of TFLtruck spotted listings for the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban in GM’s 2020 fleet order guide. These listings show a striking similarity in the models to those of 2019, putting a hold on hopes that buyers would be getting the next generation this year.

Chevy Preparing Revamps of Tahoe and Suburban

GM and Chevy have been working on revamps for many of their cars, trucks and SUVs, to further improve on the near-perfection of their lineup. Chevy’s Tahoe and Suburban are slated for a redesign, alongside the GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade.

TFLtruck recently caught a glimpse of two prototypes being tested in Colorado, believed to be early versions of the next Tahoe and Suburban. Details are still extremely scarce on what the redesigns will feature.

From the looks of this fleet order guide, 2021 will be the absolute earliest fans can get their hands on the next generation of GM and Chevy vehicles. Thankfully, the current lineup of vehicles is still quite the strong offering, so customers shouldn’t fret too much about waiting for the next evolution.
